During Navrathri Festival, elaborate homas are performed beginning with Sri Vancha Kalpa   Ganapathy Homa and  Gayathri homa . Nava Chandi Homa is performed  on the eighth day of the navrathri festival. This grand navrathri festival concludes with special Laksharchana ( 1 lakh namas in praise of Devi ) to Matharani Devi Sri Bhuvaneswari. Saptharishi Pooja  is performed on the Diwali day and other auspicious days
